Querini Stampalia Foundation

Interesting
Established in 1868 by Count Giovanni Querini Stampalia, the foundation has a library, temporary exhibition spaces, an auditorium and a museum. In the wake of remodelling by three contemporary architects, the palace now displays a pleasant mixture of old and new. The museum possesses a collection of Venetian works from the 14C to the 20C: Palma the Elder, Giambattista Tiepolo, Giovanni Bellini and Pietro Longhi.
