Venice's Public Gardens

Looking onto the Bacino di San Marco and with fine views over the lagoon, these gardens which host the Biennale make for a pleasant walk. Strollers can admire sculpture including busts of erstwhile mayor Riccardo Selvatico (founder of the Biennale), Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi.
