Juliet's house

This Gothic palace, supposed to have belonged to the Capulets, even boasts the famous "balcony" overlooking the inner courtyard. Restored in 2004, the house was entirely cleansed of all the graffiti and declarations of love that had come to "adorn" most of its walls; visitors can now leave "a message for Juliet" on one of the two giant white boards beneath the porch. A small museum in the palace relates the history of Romeo and Juliet in the arts.
