Museo di Castelvecchio

Recommended
Castelvecchio Museum showcases a relatively comprehensive selection of Veronese art from 13-16C: frescoes by local artists and paintings by Stefano da Verona, Pisanello, Giambono, Carlo Crivelli, Mantegna, Carpaccio and the Bellinis. A section is devoted to Veronese artists from the Renaissance, among which Caroto and his unusual Portrait of a child with a drawing. Also visible are works by Tintoretto, Guardi, Tiepolo, Veronese and Longhi.
