Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo)

Recommended
Completely surrounded by Baroque buildings and preceded by propylaea opening onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele, this is one of the most remarkable squares in southern Italy. You will see the campanile (by Giuseppe Zimbalo) followed by the cathedral (same architect), the Episcopal Palace and the Seminary Palace, built in 1709 on Giuseppe Cino's design, and which has a magnificently decorated well in the courtyard.
