Saluzzo The Essential
Interesting
The gracious little town of Saluzzo was, from the 12-16C, the headquarters of a powerful marquisate that made it a refined and prosperous town. The medieval centre, which fans out on the hillside, is dominated by an impressive castle. Visitors enjoy strolling around its alleyways and cobbled flights of steps, while admiring local woodwork and wrought-iron handicrafts.
