Garibaldi square (Piazza Garibaldi)

This square in the centre of the historical town, which the fountain of Triton by Michele Tripisciano (1956) decorates, is bordered by the town-hall which is set up in the old convent of Carmes, the cathedral and the church of Saint-Sebastian church with its Baroque façade whose roughcast sombre red contrasts with the ochre tufa of the architectural elements - a trait of many of many other churches in the area.
