Termini Imerese
Termini Imerese The Essential
Known since Antiquity for its chlorinated and iodic spring water, Termini has become an important port with a vast industrial complex. The city is also famous for its traditional carnival, featuring allegorical floats and masked walkers. Termini is divided into two parts, linked by lanes and staircases. The upper town (oldest part) is home to the most interesting monuments and is largely pedestrian, while the lower town is more modern in style.
