Salt Museum

Occupying an old saltworks dating back 300 years, this modestly sized museum compellingly explains the various stages in salt production, displaying the tools used for extraction and refining: mill gears, vanes, toothed wheels, chucks, pinions... Explanatory panels and photographs of the salt workers transport visitors into the world of the salt marshes.
