Communal palace (Palazzo Comunale)

A bell-tower and a dramatic staircase looking onto the piazza della Republica were added to this 13C palace in the 16C. The Council room, which dominates Signorelli square, has retained its medieval character with a ceiling of richly painted beams and three bare stonewalls with the remaining one frescoed.
