Merchants' Loggia

Interesting
According to the locals, Sansovino was the author of this elegant edifice. Whether true or false, the lines of its Corinthian capitals never fail to impress, all the more so as they are emphasised by the use of pietra serena, a blue-grey stone from the quarries around Florence.
