Museo degli Argenti

Recommended
The Silver Museum's collections are made up of the treasures of the Medici and Habsburg-Lorraine families: from Lorenzo the Magnificent's famous vases to Cosimo I's cameos; from François I's rock crystals to Marie-Madeleine of Austria's ambers; from Matthias de' Medici ivories to the jewellery of Anne-Marie-Louise, the last descendant of the family. You will also find here the treasure of Ferdinand III (collections of the Prince Archbishops of Salzburg), an important collection of jewellery by German gold and silversmiths from the late 16C and 17C as well as Japanese and Chinese porcelains.
