Piazza Vecchietta

The square is triangular in shape and its sloping surface is paved with large pebbles and bricks. In its centre stands a travertine well (limestone rock). The square was named after the painter Lorenzo di Pietro, known as the Vecchietta, who is said to have been born here in 1412.
