Commanderie van St-Jean

Overlooking a pretty little square, this brick building from the 15C and 16C is a former hospital. Founded in the 12C to house pilgrims returning from the Holy Land, it came into the possession of the Order of the Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem in the 13C. Today the building is home to the Museumbrouwerij De Hemel brewery-museum.
