Commanderie van St-Jean

This brick building from the 15 and 16C, is a former hospital which has been restored and looks over the Waal. It was founded in the 12C to house the pilgrims returning from the Holy Land. In the 13C it came into the possession of the Order of the Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem.
