Kasteel Bouvigne

This castle stands in a clearing of the Mastbos, an attractive wood boasting pine and oak trees, crisscrossed with cycle tracks and bridle paths. The name of the castle comes from the word boeverije, meaning "lowland prairie". Built in 1612, it is flanked by a high octagonal onion- domed tower and surrounded by a wide moat.
