Eindhoven Museum

Situated next to a small lake and surrounded by greenery, this open-air museum offers an attractive introduction to history with its reconstructions of houses built using the methods of the Iron Age. Here volunteers act out scenes of everyday rural life, demonstrating crafts such as weaving, forging iron, pottery, growing crops and farming. The social, religious and cultural customs of the time are also represented (divine images, musical instruments).
