Het Witte Dorp (the White Village)

This complex of 265 white houses with red roofs was created by WM Dudok, the architect of Hilversum town hall, and is a beautiful example of a Functionalist town. It was built between 1937 and 1974. The town as a whole is classified as a historical monument.
