Nordbrabants Museum (Museum of Northern Brabant)

This museum is set up in the former town governor's palace (1769). This museum testifies to medieval life, the guilds, the 80-years war, religions, popular traditions and archaeology of northern Brabant with its display of paintings, sculptures, decorative objets d'art , costumes and archaeological finds. Note in particular, a statue of Bacchus (around 200 BC), the Study of a woman farmer of Brabant by Van Gogh and Four Seasons by David Teniers the Younger.
