Cobra Museum of Modern Art

Interesting
This museum has a remarkable collection of modern and contemporary works by artists of theCobra (Copenhagen, Brussels, Amsterdam) movement, founded in 1948 by Danish, Belgian and Dutch artists seeking to break away from post-war artistic conventions to create more spontaneous works that were livelier and used brighter colours. They were inspired by popular and primitive art, drawings by children and the mentally ill. A wonderful overview of (semi-) abstract Dutch art from 1945 to 1955.
