Claes Claesz. Hofje

This picturesque hofje (courtyard) is one of Amsterdam's historical almshouses and dates from 1616. It owes its name to Claes Claesz Anslo, an Anabaptist draper. The so-called "lion" fountain graces a small courtyard.
