Molen van Sloten

This polder mill (poldermolen) from 1847 was put on the site of the original mill in 1989. A guided visit explains how it works. The hydraulics meant that 60,000 litres of water could be pumped per minute over a difference in levels of 1.50 m. A slide show and some wax statues illustrate the life of a miller's son who became quite famous: Rembrandt.
