Musée des Tropiques

Highly recommended
The Tropenmuseum (Tropical Museum) is part of the Royal Tropical Institute, a former Colonial Institute, which decided in 1926 to glorify the Dutch Crown by collecting products and objects from its colonies. This gigantic cabinet of wonders, where the emphasis is on tolerance and respect for the environment, offers visitors an intelligent encounter with the cultures of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and Latin America. The Kindermuseum (Children's Museum) is also worth visiting.
