Comenius Museum

This museum recalls the life and works of Comenius, a Czech humanist persecuted as a result of belonging to the Community of Bohemian Brothers and who spent the last years of his life in Amsterdam. Comenius' research was mainly dedicated to education and he was one of the first to seek education for all. He rests in a mausoleum ( Comenius' Mausoleum) located in the old Walloon church.
