Kasteel Radboud

Around 1288, the Count of Holland, Floris V, had this castle built to detain the inhabitants of West Friesland, who had just been conquered. Only two wings remain today, surrounded by moats. The rest was destroyed in the 17C and 18C. The loft above the great hall is dedicated to the history of the castle and the town.
