The JanninkMuseum

Installed in a former spinning mill (1900), this museum illustrates the development of the Twente from 1600 to today. The accent is on the textile industry since 1850. The museum also explores the impact of the evolution of this industry on the worker's habitat and the evolution of weaving equipment (an exhibit of tools from different eras). Aerial photos of the town also give some idea of how the Enschede has grown.
