Netherlands Convention Centre

The World Forum Convention Centre, built to a design by JJP Oud, was completed by his son in 1969. It was built in the Dutch Functionalist style. On the north side, a red and blue mosaic by Karel Appel adorns the wall at the entrance. The Conference Hall (where plays and concerts are sometimes shown) has a 2 000-person capacity. There is another hall at basement level, for banquets and exhibitions.
