Galicja Jewish Museum

Interesting
Opened in June 2004, this museum has an interesting focus, namely to bring a contemporary perspective to bear on the Jewish history of Polish Galicja. Making judicious use of photographic archive material, the "Traces of Memory" exhibition bears witness to a way of life that developed over nearly ten centuries, only to be annihilated virtually overnight. Temporary exhibitions also take place. There is extensive information in English.
