The Modern Centre

Interesting
Lying around the palace of culture and sciences, Warsaw's commercial and economic hub gives the impression of being a huge building site: an unsettling scene of skyscrapers and futurist structures (notably the centre for life and leisure, Zlote Tarasy) lining wide Stalinist avenues, jumbled together with luxury shops and hotels, communist-era blocks of flats and unedifying retail centres.
