Antigo Convento das Chagas

Founded by Joana de Mendonça, second wife of the Duke D. Jaime I, the old Convent of the Wounds is located to the south of the Palace square. the church, with its walls covered in azulejos from 1626, serves as the necropolis for the Duchesses of Bragança.
