Art and Ethnographic Museum

Interesting
The full spectrum of Romanian art under one roof. Several rooms are naturally dedicated to Nicolae Grigorescu, the father of Romanian painting, and his followers (Ion Andreescu, Stefan Luchian). The modern period and abstract art are also represented (Pallady, Tonitza, Ion Tuculescu), along with contemporary art (Brasov-born Sever Frentiu). The ethnographic museum in the same building focuses on the region's textile heritage.
