Palace of Culture

Interesting
Symbol of the town, this huge neo-Gothic building (1925) today houses four museums: history museum with Cucuteni painted ceramics (3500-3000 BC); ethnographic museum; technique museum with its musical instrument collection; and art museum with works by Romanian painters like Nicolae Grigorescu, Octav Bâncila, Camil Ressu and Gheorghe Vânâtoru.
