Strangely bereft of a bell tower, this church founded in 1503 is less visited than its better-known Bukovina neighbours. It is covered in paintings (where green predominates) executed by Coman Dragos in 1541. This itinerant artist added Renaissance touches to the Byzantine canon (see the Life of St George, west niche). As at Humor, the south façade has the Last Judgement, Acathiste anthem and siege of Constantinople. Inside, note the tomb of its founder, Luca Arbore, the governor of Suceava.
