Vladimir Mayakovsky Museum

Recommended
What finer tribute could be given to the poet of the revolution than creating a museum about him? Designed by Taras Poliakov in 1994 and housed in thekommounalka (communal apartment) where Vladimir Mayakovsky lived his last years and committed suicide in 1930, the museum is an unbelievable place that reconstructs to perfection the whirlwind era when revolution and avant-garde went hand in hand. Take time to linger over the posters by Kazimir Malevich and Alexander Rodchenko in particular.
