Algeciras Museo Municipal

This museum is in a large house in the centre of the pretty Acacias Park. It contains a number of exhibits from the Roman era including amphora and corks, which show the commercial importance of the bay of Algeciras. Note also the pieces relating to the Siege of Algeciras (1342-1344), during which the troops of Alfonso XI showed much ingenuity
