Bujalance
Bujalance The Essential
This pretty village on the Córdoban plain is surrounded by olive trees. Its numerous noblemen's houses, built mainly in the 17C, are full of the typical charm of Andalucian architecture. Moorish influence can be seen in the remains of the fortress and its name, derived from the Arabic Burj al-Hansh, meaning "snake tower".
