Capuchinos square

Interesting
You may feel like you have landed in the middle of nowhere on this empty, white and slightly dilapidated square, surrounded by the buildings of the monastery of the Capuchins. In the centre, the Christ on the Cross surrounded by lanterns seems abandoned by everyone. Emblematic of Córdoba, it is the object of great devotion, as shown by the flowers and candles placed at its feet. The white marble Christ dates from the late 18C. As you leave by the other side of the square, you come across the lovely steps of Cuesta del Bailío.
