La Rambla The Essential
The village of La Rambla, between Córdoba and Montilla, is typical of the villages in this area. It is well known for its pottery, as well as for once having hosted the illustrious writer, Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra. The future author of Don Quixote was sent here as a tax collector and quartermaster, and entrusted with keeping watch over the royal granary.
