Alcazaba

Interesting
This is the oldest part of the Alhambra, an austere fortress surrounded by walls and flanked by towers of which three look over the Citernes square. To the south of the Adarves gardens, you will find a marvellous view over the woods of Alhambra. Inside are the vestiges of the military quarter dominated by the massive shape of the lookout tower which has a magnificent panoramic view. To the west, the Vermeilles towers used to form part of the defensive walls of the old town.
