The sober 12C edifice once served as a refuge to King Sancho IV, known as El Bravo (the Brave). It contains a visitors' centre for the Parque Natural de la Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche. In it you will find information on the black vulture, an endangered species. The park is one of its main breeding grounds in Europe.
