Niebla The Essential
Interesting
Situated 29km from Huelva, Niebla stands beside the River Tinto, straddled by a large Roman bridge. The origins of this old town date back to the 8C BC. Its surrounding walls were built by the Almohads, a Muslim dynasty, and are among the best preserved in Spain. It is well worth strolling through the historic centre to admire the town's churches and castles.
