Palacio de Lebrija

Interesting
A visit to this private residence, so typical of Seville, gives an idea of the organisation of Seville's palaces and has a unique surprise: the pavement is made of magnificent Roman mosaics from Itálica. Those in the patio and in the octagonal room are of particular interest in terms of their shape. The staircase is a pure wonder: completely covered in azulejos, with its mahogany ramp, marble steps and its superb Mudejar artesonado ceiling which comes from a palace in Marchena. The first floor presents an extraordinary collection of furniture and works of art.
