Tower and Church of San Pedro, Teruel

Interesting
Despite alterations in the 18C, San Pedro Church has kept the original Mudéjar architecture of its chevet and tower (1236), the oldest of Teruel's four Mudéjar towers. A church outhouse was formerly used as a funerary chapel for the Lovers of Teruel. Now, a whole mausoleum is devoted to them. The two alabaster recumbent figures are the work of Juan de Ávalos (20C).
