Church of St-Mary-of-the-Kings

The church of Santa María de los Reyes, built as of the 12C, features different architectural styles: certain of its pillars are Romanesque, the vaults are Gothic and the chancel is Renaissance, which does not distinguish it from many regional churches. It does, however, have an extraordinary polychrome portal, a gem of Gothic art sculpted in the 14C, which has been preserved thanks to a portico, built in the 16C, that protects it from the bad weather.
