Altamira Museum and New Cave

Devoted to the period of the Altamira Cave, the highly informative museum has an interesting and fun approach (video, cartoons, information panels and reconstructions; in Spanish). It shows visitors the way of life and the art of Upper Palaeolithic man, which is both interesting and attractive. A short introduction to the world of archaeology and a presentation of the evolution of the human species up to Homo sapiens.
