Saint Mary the White

Interesting
The main Jewish temple in Toledo in the late 12C, in 1405 it was given to the Knights of Calatrava, after being transformed into a church. The interior has nonetheless retained the characteristic style of an Almohade mosque. Five naves on tiered levels top one another, separated by horseshoe arches that support 24 octagonal pillars. The white plaster enhances the capitals and the marvellous decoration of the upper level.
