Casa de la Canonja

This old canons' residence (1546) has retained interesting sculpted detail on the facade and on the outside. To the right is the Pia Almoina building, a charitable institution created in 1009. Totally renovated, these two buildings today accommodate the Museum of the Diocese of Barcelona (museu Diocesà de la Pia Almoina), in which you will see paintings, sculptures, gold and silverware and religious garments.
