Hôpital Saint-Paul

Recommended
The red-brick building, built between 1902 and 1912, covers an area of 10 000m². Domènech i Montaner worked on his monumental work alongside sculptors Pablo Gargallo and Eusebio Arnau. The varnished ceramic mosaics adorning the pavilions depict mythological and historic scenes of Catalonia. No longer a hospital, the Modernist edifice of Sant Pau has been converted to showcase its architecture and is little by little beginning to house new institutions.
