Plaça del Rei

Recommended
This square is the setting for numerous cultural activities (concerts, plays etc) and is the heart of the Gothic quarter. Here you can view some of the city's most important medieval buildings: the façade of the Palau Reial Major, to the right the Capella de Santa Àgata, and to the left the Palau del Lloctinent. In the right-hand corner of the square, note the Casa Clariana-Padellàs, which houses the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat.
