Ramblas

Recommended
This long avenue is Barcelona's most famous artery and is packed day and night with hordes of locals, tourists and street artists, who come to enjoy and be seen on its café terraces and stalls. More often referred to as the "Ramblas", as it is divided into five sections, each bearing a different name, it extends for one kilometre from Plaça de Catalunya to the monument of Christopher Columbus on Plaça Portal de la Pau.
