Madrid's Royal Palace

The Campo del Moro offers the best view of the whole of this impressive edifice, measuring 140x140m, and built by the Bourbons; it was the official residence of the Royal Family until 1931. Today, it is part of the national heritage and 30 of its 2,000 rooms are open to the public, among which the beautiful Throne Room, the sumptuous Gasparini Room and the marvellous Porcelain Room, in addition to the splendid royal armoury.
